Monday, June 11, 2018:
A loch (inlet from the sea) in eastern Scotland. |
A lunch stop at the
Stronachlachar Pier and
Tea Room on Loch Katrine. Paul and Teresa shared tea and cake on the
loch. |
Then it was off to a
store to see and feel real Scottish wool. The sign says, "Ewe"vd Been Fleeced." Mark's comment was, "I've been fleeced." |
Another loch
along the way. |
The day ended at the
Inn on Loch Lomond
where a buck deer watched over the visitors. |
The weather was just a
bit on the wet side that evening, but not bad enough to keep from walking and
looking at the loch. |
Paula discovered snails
out for a walk in the rain. No, she did not want French Escargot for
dinner. |
Loch Lomond in the evening. Moisture from clouds keeps the hillsides green. |
Quote of the day: This was the only time we had light rain. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
