Monday, June 11, 2018:  A loch (inlet from the sea) in eastern Scotland.

A lunch stop at the Stronachlachar Pier and Tea Room on Loch Katrine.  Paul and Teresa shared tea and cake on the loch.

Then it was off to a store to see and feel real Scottish wool.
The sign says, "Ewe"vd Been Fleeced."  Mark's comment was, "I've been fleeced."

Another loch along the way.

The day ended at the Inn on Loch Lomond where a buck deer watched over the visitors.

The weather was just a bit on the wet side that evening, but not bad enough to keep from walking and looking at the loch.

Paula discovered snails out for a walk in the rain.  No, she did not want French Escargot for dinner.

Loch Lomond in the evening.  Moisture from clouds keeps the hillsides green.

Quote of the day:    This was the only time we had light rain.   Mark    < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
