New Year's
Day, 2018. A new day and a new year. It was 28 degrees below zero overnight , warming up to 20 below by 9 am, then -13 by mid-day. That called for a Tom and Jerry to warm the body. |

what to our wondering eyes should appear, but four deer. Do you see all
four? Their colors blend in with the woods. |

You can
see the color when this one was out in the morning sunlight with long shadows. |

one bed down, feeling safe at Gilbert Lodge. |
