Monday, September 4, 2017:  It was Labor Day.  Deep Diver Paula suited-up to do what she knows well.

She jumped into Round Lake, near Garrison, Minnesota, to do some treasure hunting.

Sure enough, she came up with a metal ice chisel from about 15 feet of water.

Then she found an anchor, which her uncle Jack Scott decided he'd like for his boat.

Paula was away for twenty loooooong minutes.
She had Mark and Jack wondering where she was until they spotted her, not far from shore.

Paula came up with a coffee pot.  You gotta wonder how that got there!

Getting here out of the water was difficult because Jack's pontoon boat does not have a ladder to aid climbing up.
Heave ho, Jack!

The Paula said/claimed he saw some nice size Northern Pike and Walleyes.  Mark says things look magnified underwater.

In the end, the treasure haul included two anchors, an ice chisel and a coffee pot.  Good going, Paula!

Quote of the day:    Paula is a natural born treasure hunter.   Mark    < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
