         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Monday, January 4, 2016:  Mark and Paula cruised south into Kansas.   Hilly in a few spots with warmer temperatures.
 
There was a mixture of new and old wind power machines.  Kansas is a windy state.
 
It was a wild time when Mark and Paula pulled into a rest stop.
 
They never know what they are going to run into along the road.
 
Mark was seen with Judy Garland and Toto the dog, of Wizard of Oz fame.

Judy was born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, as Francis Gum.

She was in Kansas because the movie was about her life there.

Yes, Paula, we are in Kansas!
One of the rest stops along the way featured the bronze statue of a World War II soldier.

Saluting him was a Vietnam War veteran, who happened to be there that day.
Mark and Paula drove south into Oklahoma and immediately broke out singing, Oklahoma.  YouTube.
Is this a clue as to where the Dynamic Duo are headed?
