         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Wednesday, October 7, 2015:  The Dynamic Duo of Mark and Paula Persons visited Stillwater, Minnesota. 
This quaint town is on the St. Croix River with Wisconsin on the other side. 
 
There is a park in town where people often to to sit and contemplate while looking at the lift bridge.  Diamonds on the water.
 
The Washington County Historical Society Veterans Memorial. 

This one depicts an American Civil War soldier.
Then it was off to the Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter Restaurant.  They are known far and wide for excellent food.
 
Mystery Diners Paula and Mark tried out the fare....that is after a beer was served.   They were not disappointed.
 
Rahm Puten Schnitzel (boneless chicken breast fillets lightly breaded, served with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables) was one very good choice. 
Another was Sauerbraten (marinated beef roasted with special seasonings, topped with gravy, served in traditional Bavarian style with potato dumplings and red cabbage).
