         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Saturday, June 13, 2015:  It was car racing at North Central Speedway just south of Brainerd.  Mark and Paula were guests of Chris Grams and WYRQ Radio.
Lots of stock cars including two with the number 95.  Yes, it was a father and daughter trying to outdo each other. 
The daughter was in the green car, ahead of dad in the red car.  The crowd loved it.
 
What do you does a race car driver do when his engine is burning oil?

Answer:  Keep driving until is stops...and he did!!
You could almost hear the crowd sing the song, "You picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel"
Lots sponsor logos on these cars. 
Driving in this arena isn't cheap when you consider what it takes to keep these things running under hazardous conditions.
This is a dirt track that is wet down between races. 
 
Plenty of accidents too.

The crowd roared, but no one was hurt.
There were a number of races and a checkered flag at the end of each. 

Happy winners got their photos taken with two babes!
