         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Saturday, May 16, 2015:  It was Poppy Day.  Maurice Mogenson, member of the Brainerd Veterans of Foreign Wars, gave out Buddy Poppies in return for donations at Mills Fleet Farm.  Many others volunteered in that effort too.  All (100%) of the money  raised goes to help veterans.

One lady that day was wearing a flag shirt.  Her son served in Iraq.  The young man above might be a soldier someday.
Yes, flowers were showing up everywhere, thanks to recent moderate temperatures and rain.
