         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Saturday, October 25, 2014: 

Deep Diver Paula was at the SCUBA dive shop in Brainerd with friends.

Hmmm...what was she getting ready for?
Gear was loaded into a dive van while Babe the Blue Ox looked on.

They were headed to Crosby for the annual underwater pumpkin carving contest.
Yes, ten pumpkins were carved underwater that day.  That is not an easy feat.
Watch out with that knife, Mrs. Bobbitt!
 
When it was all said and done, Scuba Leslie won first place with her man in the moon.
Paula carved an owl in her pumpkin, but did not win a prize.
 
Paula felt frisky anyway and snuck up on and surprised friend/fellow diver Tim Gack to give him a strangle hold from behind.
 
Afterword it was off to a TJ's Log Cabin for a beverage and plenty of talk about the day.
