Thursday, October 9, 2014: 
There was an open house at the Brainerd Dispatch newspaper in Brainerd and the Echo Journal.
 
Tim Bogenschutz, Publisher of the Dispatch, gave tours. 

That included the presses which print for other publications as well.

The Dispatch has received no less than seven awards for outstanding photojournalism when competing world wide.

This is an excellent local success story.
Steve Kohls has been with the Dispatch forever as a photographer.

You'll see his high-quality photos frequently in the newspaper.

That includes his trips to Alaska to photograph bears.
Kelly Humphrey brings a woman's touch to photos in the Dispatch.

She knows what a good photographic image looks like and she goes accordingly.

Keep up the good work, Kelly!
