         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Friday August 22, 2014:  Mark and Paula found themselves in Downtown Minneapolis at a Minnesota Twins baseball evening game.
 
The stadium is an amazing place with plenty of photo opportunities.

The Dynamic Duo couldn't help but pose on the "Golden Glove." 

 
Paula, the eternal shopper, tried on clothes at a gift shop.

Then she couldn't pass up a bratwurst at a food stand.
Even Fox Sports was there.

They were all keyed up over this game.
The weather was good and the crowd loved the game on this immaculately kept field.
 
Lots of tense moments....including two back-to-back home runs.
Attendance that night was 29,394.  That is more than twice the population of Brainerd and Baxter combined.
 
The Twins started winning and the crowd went crazy. 
Baseball games usually last about three hours.  This one lasted four.
In the end, the score was Twins 20 and the Detroit Tigers 6.
 
Then there were fireworks until 11:30 PM.  Mark and Paula didn't get back to their hotel room until after midnight.
