Camp life wasn't
bad with venison and fresh corn on the cob. |

There were even women in army camps back then. |

The northern boys
in blue grouped up and got ready to march. |

Southern boys in grey were reviewed by their commander before
heading out. |

General Robert E. Lee was there as troops marched to the
battlefield. |

Then the canons
let loose as the battle began. |

Hard to believe
they stood up when shooting
back then
so they could be
hit by enemy bullets. |

Union troops won the battle and celebrated the victory with a loud Hurray! |
