The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons


	Saturday, July 12, 2014: Mark and Paula were invited to the Gilbert Lake home of Dave and Jean Schaeffer for dinner. The parked the Minnow while Jean was busy preparing the meat for the grill.

	Mark was enjoying a tall cool one after his ten mile walk on the Bataan Memorial March earlier in the day. He was glad the ten miles were behind him and needed plenty of liquid to get hydrated again.

	Dave Schaeffer, master griller as he is, was tending the meat with a watchful eye. Great vegetables too. Who could want more?

	Then Paula helped bring out the special chocolate something dessert the Jean prepared. Jean, you outdo yourself!

	Off to the water they went while Dave enjoyed an after-dinner bump in the evening sun. Dave is a thinking man and has plenty of observations on life.

	Jean and Paula were near the Minnow's bow watching the sights go by including canoeists. Always plenty of conversation to go around.

	Then sunset came in the western sky followed by a full moon.
