Service Officer was the main speaker. He recited the In
Flanders Fields poem and even sang a song.
Kathleen Thorson was this year's Voice of Democracy winner.
She gave the
Gettysburg Address. Well done!
Other speakers included master of ceremonies Dick Lyscio,
Chaplin Susan Edwards, Brainerd mayor Darrell Olson, Baxter
mayor James Wallin, Crow Wing County commissioners chair
Rosemary Franzen, Evergreen Cemetery president John Boeder.
The Brainerd High School Band was under the direction of Mr.
Chris Fogderud.
