People gathered at the
Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery just
north of Little Falls, MN. Some 5100 grave markers are in neat rows at this place with about 400 new ones added each year. Loved ones are often remembered by visitors here. |
This was the 21st annual Memorial Day Ceremony near Little
Falls. Thousands showed up to honor those who lost their lives in service to our country. |

Nice to see a color guard and young people serving today. | |
These lads are from the Civil Air Patrol. Very dedicated to holding the flags. |

This lady sang
God
Bless the USA to a resounding applause. Well done! |
|
The color guard put on a very well run 75 minute long
ceremony. Some 21 million served this country over the years. |

A weapon with bayonet sticking into the ground and a helmet on
top. Let it be known that this is the resting place of a fallen soldier. |
Quote of the day: Memorial Day helps us remember who fought for our freedom. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
