Sunday,
May 18, 2014:
No church that morning. It was "Community
Service Day" for the
Park
Methodist Church in Brainerd.
Mark and Paula, along with others, picked up roadside trash at the
Northland Arboretum.
Most of that was along the road between the Westgate Mall and the Arb.

Plenty to see at this place.
Cool clear water and flowers. |

Paula finally had to rest while pointing out various birds
flying by. Even a chipmunk was interested.
Everyone likes Paula. |

|
There was Mark with a Tilley hat to keep the sun out of
his eyes getting ready to throw yet another bag of trash in a dumpster.
In all, some six bags were collected and disposed of by the
Dynamic Duo.
Not bad for 3-1/2 hours of volunteer work
(7 hours total) for Mark and Paula. |

Later they dined outdoors watching wildlife and spring
weather. Good exercise too. |
