Friday, December 6, 2013: 

Santaland was open at Macy's in downtown Minneapolis.

Thousands of wide-eyed children and adults visit here every year.

 

Elves have a full work day and a generous eating schedule.

Wouldn't you like to live like that?

 
The bakery is busy preparing bread and sweets.

No wonder Santa is a bit overweight.

 
Lots of Christmas cookies too.

Not a calorie in the bunch!

In case you did not know it, trees at the North Pole know how to sing.

They do pretty well too.

 
Santa gets lots of mail from girls and boys.

Lots of orders to fill before Christmas eve.

 
Yes, the elves burn the midnight oil just before Christmas.

Toy orders get larger every year.

Santa's workshop is a busy place.
