Wednesday, October 9, 2013: 

Sunrise as seen from just north of Little Falls, Minnesota.

 
Birds on a small lake in Central Minnesota trying to decide when to head south for warmer weather.

It won't be long before snow falls.

 
Fall colors are showing against a crystal blue skies.

Definitely at their peak.

Yes, they got their directions right, they were flying south for the winter.

We will see them again in the spring.
