         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

Friday September 27, 2013: 

Mark and Paula spent some time at Canal Park near the Aerial Bridge in Duluth, Minnesota.

Two ships were lying at anchor waiting to get into port.

Tourists ride horse-drawn carriages along the shoreline.

Where are they going?  To the Canal Park Brewing Company, of course.

This place sells only beer they have made.  Don't ask for a Bud Light here.

Not to worry, they have just about any type of beer you might want.

The usual fare at Canal Park Brewery is nicely done hamburgers.

It is a popular spot except that parking is extremely limited.  There are parking lots and on-street parking nearby, but are not free.   

Deep Diver Paula spent time looking out to Lake Superior wondering when she will be diving again.

She contemplated being a sailor, when she was young, like her father was. 

Instead, she married Mark and settled down to a life on dry land with her cats.

Paula usually agrees that was the right decision.
