Sunday,
August 25, 2013: Mark and Paula took a photo workshop
from noted professional photographer
Guy Tal from Torrey, Utah.
Guy is well known for his landscape scenes. So, the seminar was held at Crow Wing State Park, just south of Brainerd. About a dozen amateur photographers were in attendance. They learned his vision of what a good photograph should look like. |

The Mississippi and Crow Wing Rivers come together at the
park.
It is frequently visited by vacationers and photographers. |
This happy dog was enjoying a day out. The photographers liked it too. |
There is a lot to see in this historic location
where a town once stood some 100 years ago. That, now abandoned, town was Crow Wing. |
Paula liked this frog.
It blended in well with the surroundings. |
The river is a favorite spot for ducks and photographers. The rivers are home to fish as well. |
The
Red River Trail goes through here too. Nice and peaceful. |
Paula found a
geocache.
Searching for these treasures is another hobby of Paula. She does everything! |
