Saturday, August 10, 2013: Mark and Paula visited Itasca State Park north of Park Rapids, Minnesota. It is the "Headwaters of the Mississippi River." Paula couldn't help but show she that she was where anyone can cross the mighty river where it all begins at Lake Itasca in northern Minnesota.

The Chester Charles tour boat plies the waters of

An eager boy was fishing while the boat went by. |

Some 75 years of history there. |

Mark was there to checkout the latest technology
in personal communications.

Mark and Paula enjoyed lunch at the lodge.
Mark chose an Elk Burger while Paula liked the Bison Burger.
Paula's was the best. A magazine on the table may be a clue as to where they are headed next. |
