Tuesday, June 23, 2013:

Paula was out in the evening fishing from the pier (dock) at Gilbert Lodge.

The sun streamed across the water to where she thought the fish might be.

No luck!

 
It wasn't long before she decided that the fish were elsewhere.

She navigated the Minnow to the north side of Gilbert Lake and dipped a line in the water.

She hooked a small bass in short order.

Paula, How big was it?

How many would it take to fill a plate for dinner?

 
Then it was back to the lodge as the sun was getting ready to set.

 
 

Gilbert Lodge was a welcome sight at the end of the day.
