         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Saturday, June 8, 2013:  

The annual Nisswa-Stamman Scandinavian Folk Music Festival was held in Nisswa, Minnesota, about 20 miles north of Brainerd.  The event draws hundreds of musicians from around the world...especially the Scandinavian countries of Denmark, Norway and Sweden in northern Europe.
After tuning up, there is a parade through downtown on the way to the Nisswa Pioneer Village.
The weather was very good and music came from almost everyone

Arnie Anderson and Paul Wilson teamed up with a violin duet.
The many stage acts were well attended.
Plenty of dancing for everyone.  
Musicians played everywhere they happened to be.
Plenty of photo-ops  too.
There was no lack of enthusiasm for music.
