         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Monday, April 29, 2013:   More evidence of spring. 

Paul Bunyan, at the Brainerd Lakes Chamber Visitor Center, was greeting people snowing that there is no more snow in the area.

You can see him too about five miles south of Brainerd on highway 371.
Paula found daylilies popping through last year's leaves at Gilbert Lodge. 

Her ancestry goes back to Holland so she is very much in tune with plants like this.
Mark discovered a caterpillar on the driveway.

No, his ancestry does not go back to this kind of animal.

One caterpillar was looking up at a butterfly and said to another caterpillar, "You'll never get me up in one of those things!"
