Friday, April 19, 2013:  

More snow overnight. 

Snow clung to windows in the Great Room.

The National Weather Service called it a spring storm. 

Mark called it winter!
Yes, the rain gauge was overflowing with snow.  The mailbox was hosting plenty of snow as well.  Good thing it has a strong roof.
 

 
The driveway was melting just minutes after being cleared by a snow thrower. 

Yes, this was "winter's last laugh."

Blue skies were starting to show as spring was just getting started.

Plenty of frisky spring-like winds too.

 
It was definitely blue skies later in the day.

Snow was avalanching off the upper steel roof onto the roof below.
