         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

 
Friday, April 19, 2013:  

The annual WWWI Radio Chili Cook-Off was held at the Westgate Mall in Brainerd. 

It was a charity event to aid military and military families.

Serving excellent chili were Kadee O'Day and Mary Prior.

Good cooks. 

 
The event gave people a chance to meet Jimmy V and Lon Schmidt, co-hosts of the morning show on WWWI Radio.

Jimmy was in the U.S. Navy and Lon served in the U.S. Air Force.

Their chili was very tasty.

 
Paula like many of the dozen or so chilies...especially when there was cheese on top.

 
The U.S. Marines were on hand with their HOT chili.

They warned everyone with tender pallets.

Mark tried a little and agreed it was HOT! 

 
These ladies liked the chili.

One had a U.S. Army cap.
