Local photographer Jeff Collins
was voted Photographer of the Year by the
Crossing
Arts Alliance in
Brainerd. He was honored as a part of Picturing 2014 at the
Franklin Arts Center.
Some of his works were shown at an evening gathering honoring him
and giving the public to vote on their favorite photos.
Some
103 photographs were submitted for the event, but only 60 were
selected by a panel of judges. They include these photos from

This one is from December 6, 2013, as a ship
was leaving the Duluth, Minnesota, harbor headed into the mist on a
cold winter day. It is titled, "Venturing Out."

From February 23, 2014, this is "Turtle in the
Mist" taken at the
Como
Park Conservatory in the Twin Cities.

Finally, the Stone Arch Bridge as seen on June
23, 2014. The view is looking south into Minneapolis in the
early evening across the Mississippi River.
