Plenty of snow and cold this winter.

A country trail was waiting for spring to arrive.
 
 

Talk about snow throwers! 

The Minnesota Department of Transportation was busy on Highway 371 north in Baxter, MN, using a snow thrower that would make almost anyone envious.

The goal was to clear snow at the edges of intersections. 

 
Those machines gobble snow and throw it.

Great stuff.
 
First sign of spring. 

The Brainerd, MN, Dairy Queen opened for the season on this day.
 
It is almost like summer when you can get a Dairy Queen treat.
