         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

Saturday, October 19, 2013: 

Mark and Paula met with their long time friend Jack Ruttger, owner of Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge.

It was at the annual Oktoberfest celebration, which drew thousands of people.

Plenty of German music for everyone.  Ya vol.

Featured that day were the Concord Singers from New Ulm, Minnesota.
Plenty of German food to go around.  Beer and bratwurst.
 

Plenty of dancing too.

Part of a troop of Narren, a German tradition.

These are the Narren of New Ulm. 

New Ulm, Minnesota, is definitely a community with German Heritage.
