Tuesday, October 1, 2013: 

The Minnow was out on Gilbert Lake, but this time it was heading for dry dock.

A gull watched as the boat glided past.

 
Sure enough, Mark Kruse was at the public landing waiting with truck and trailer to haul her ashore.

He took the Minnow to the Brainerd Sports Outlet for winterizing and storage.

 
Yes, it was the end of another summer cruising Gilbert Lake on the Minnow.

Paula "Gilligan" and Mark "The Skipper" were there with thumbs up for another successful season on the lake. 

It was a good time to pull the Minnow out.  The weather forecast for the next week was rain and more rain.
