         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

 
Tuesday September 17, 2013: 

Deep Diver Paula decided to go SCUBA diving in Gilbert Lake.

She suited-up while Mark, the Skipper of the Minnow, stayed topside. 

 

Then she jumped into the water.

This shot makes it look like she is walking on the water.

Not the case, she was in the water in another fraction of a second.

 
Lots of foaming water as she splashed in, fins and all.

She even has prescription lenses in her dive goggles.

Checking the air again, she was off.

 
With dive flag in tow, she was exploring the bottom of Gilbert lake.

Paula says, "Non-divers are known as "bubble watchers." 

 
Here she is climbing back aboard the Minnow after 45 minutes of underwater exploring.

Paula is very at home and happy in the water.

Mark says he should have known she was half-fish when he discovered there is webbing between her toes.

Paula is nearing the 500th dive of her underwater career.  Stay tuned for news of the celebration.
