Maintenance supervisor Mark and his assistant Paula successfully installed the pier (sometimes called the dock) at Gilbert Lodge.

Mark wore waders while Deep Diver Paula donned her scuba diving drysuit.

It all went mostly well, but Mark got some water over the top of the waders making it look like he should have visited a men's room sooner.

Then he got smart and then used the green kayak to float at the deep to level the deck and tighten hardware.     

Mark Kruse from Brainerd Sports Outlet brought the Minnow by and launched it at the Gilbert Lake public landing. 

He is a friendly, good natured guy.   

The Minnow is a 20 foot Misty Harbor pontoon boat with a 40 horse Mercury outboard motor.

It won't be long before the Skipper and Gilligan will be giving three hour tours of Gilbert Lake.

The rainy weather needs to turn a little warmer and sunnier first.
