 August 6, 2026: Mark and Paula headed to the Cuyuna Country State Recreational Area near Crosby and Ironton, MN.   Paula came prepared to SCUBA dive.  She left a dive flag topside signifying a diver was in the water. There was also a fisherman, as you can see in the background, that day.  This park has 50 miles of bike trails in an 800 acre area.    Mark headed to the top of the nearby Miner's Mountain, a popular spot for people to see the area.  Looking down at the parking area below. To the right, you can see the fishing boat.  Back at the lake entrance, the dive flag was a mystery to some visitors.   Then Paula popped up an an hour later with an underwater camera tied to her right arm.  Here is what Deep Diver Paula saw below.    Then there was this loon underwater. |
