 May 2, 2026: Sunrise over Lake Superior from the Fitger's Inn at Duluth, MN.   The sun's golden rays illuminated fishermen on the lake at sunrise. The Fitger's smokestack and water tower were watching from the east with a blue sky behind.  Then it was up on the north shore of Lake Superior.     Lots of acitivity there.  The north shore is a rocky place.   Fishermen were headed out on the lake with the sun making diamonds on the water.  The Dubh Linn Irish Brew Pub was a fun place to go that evening.    Mark and Paula had dinner with Darnell King and his wife Renate, whom they knew from the Brainerd VFW.  The Riverwalk north of Fitger's.  The ship was still anchored.  An evening view of Fitger's Inn and the Aerial Bridge. |
