 February 28, 2026: The Grand Portage National Monument Heritage Center.  Deep Diver Paula was intersted in the display of now-antique SCUBA diving gear. It was used in the 1960s when researching the area's history.  Moose are common in this area of the world.  A view of Lake Superior from the center.  A real wood fire was a warming sight.  This is the beginning of the Gun Flint Trail. It goes to the Boundry Waters.  Mark and Paula dined that night at the Gun Flint Tavern in Grand Marais.   Paula loved the carrot cake. Hmmmm, how would you play this hand in poker?  The moon on that clear night was almost full. |
