 February 21, 2026: Mark and Paula headed out on Mille Lacs Lake where they followed this truck crossing a bridge over a huge crack in the ice.  It was the annual Fishing for Ducks fund raiser by the Garrison, MN, Ducks Unlimited.   Mark discovered locals drink cold beer or have their lunch as an all-in-one with a drink on cold days like this.   Paula ran into this duck person who gave her a duck souvenir.   Then Paula ran into her fishing buddies from previous tournaments on Gull Lake. The official duck was there to say hello.  Lucky fishermen registered their catches hoping for a big prize.   Fishermen were out again while youngsters were fed foot-long hot dogs!   Ducks Unlimited sold and auctioned off many items to help the cause. |
