 November 26, 2025: Snow came to Brainerd, Minnesota. About five inches was measued at Gilbert Lodge.  Snowthrower Mark was out clearing the driveway.  Snowshoveler Paula was doing cleanup, as usual.  Neighbor Dale Ray Thiesen had an extra problem. A tree broke from the weight of the snow and left debris for him to cleanup after clearing his driveway.  Gilbert Lake was still open but snow was heavy on trees the other side too.  From the galley window inside Gilbert Lodge, a north wind was seen causing the flag to stand straight out. |
