 Sunday, August 10, 2025: The Blanchard Dam on the Mississippi River, about ten miles south of Little Falls, Minnesota.  Dams are popular fishing spots and this one is no exception.  People are naturally attracted to water.  There is a bridge nearby that is no longer used by the railroad.  The bridge is great for pedestrian and bike traffic.  Locks are popular on fences no matter where you go.  Paula wasn't the only one rock hunting that day. It is one of her favorite hobbies.  Yes, the Mississippi River keeps rolling along....all the way to New Orleans where Mark and Paula visited in 2018. |
