Wednesday, August 6, 2025: Turtle races in Nisswa, Minnesota.
This popular event has been running for many many years.


 Contestants select their turtles and then set them loose with great hopes of winning.



Off they go.



Water is used to encourage the turtles to move faster. The first one to the outer circle wins.



 An interesting event.
