 Thursday, July 17, 2025: Fagen Fighters near Granite Falls, MN, where World War Two aircraft are restored. \  This is a Curtis P-40 Warhawk with a shark's mouth, as used by the Flying Tigers in China 1941-42.  A military glider used to deliver troops to battlefields in Europe in WWII. Many were built in Minnesota.  A Lockeed P-38 Lightning, of the type flown by Richard Bong.  This image depicts the Doolittle Raid on Tokyo, April 18,1944.  A World War II radio repairman.  A briefing room for pilots heading for France and Germany.  Troops landing on Omaha Beach at Normandy, France on June 6, 1944. .  Paratroopers being dropped into Nazi occupied Europe during WWII.  Not all of them made it safely.  A display depicting the Holocaust by the German Nazi regime in WWII. About 2.5 million Jews were murdered then.     Even motorcycles were used for transporation back then.  A scene from a cafe during WWII. |
