![]() Tuesday, July 15, 2025: Along I-90 at Murdo, South Dakota. Whoa! Let's stop at the 1880 Town. ![]() It started as a movie set and is now a tourist attraction depicting the American west in the 1880s. ![]() Mark remembers desks like that in grade school. ![]() The local bank. ![]() The livery stable. ![]() ![]() This young lad was there with his six-shooter. ![]() A windmill pumped water for the cattle and town. ![]() Paula is an animal person so she petted on the horses. ![]() This long-horn had a long tongue. ![]() Yes, and there was Doctor Goode's Tonic to cure whatever troubles you. ![]() ![]() ![]() The saloon was well done. As in the old west, "don't shoot the piano player," they are hard to come by. |
