Saturday,  May 3, 2025:
Duluth, MN. The sun had set and the temperature was in the high 60s.




The Northland Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the lakeshore.




Paula was looking out one of the viewing ports on the memorial, something like a soldier in Vietnam on guard duty at night.




Young people were out because this was Prom night in Duluth.




Others were admiring Lake Superior during the good weather.




The north shore lit up as the evening progressed.
Fitger's smoke stack, built in 1881, was still standing tall.
