 Saturday, May 3, 2025: A train was running that afternoon.   Mark and Paula bought tickets. No, not THAT train!  It was the Northwoods Explorer, which runs along the north shore of Lake Superior. You see it here going by Fitger's Inn where Mark and Paula were staying that weekend.  They chose a Vista Car where the visibility is the best.   A view of the train from the Vista. Lots of friendly people along the way.   The windws were fascinating to this child. The train crossed several rivers along the way.   Then the train stopped and the engineer inspected the train before returning it to Duluth. A lot of excited and happy people on the trip.  Card sharks like train travel too.   Some passengers gazed out at doors between cars. Nice weather for it too.    Just passing the lake walk. You can see the Aerial Bridge in the background.  Yes, a scenic adventure for everyone.  |
